My name is Linneah. I’m studying International Development at the University of Waterloo. I’m in my third year.

INDEV is a program that happened to me almost by accident but it’s the program I was born for. I was raised to ask questions, to challenge the status quo and to work hard for what is good and right. INDEV lets me do all those things that come so naturally to me and gain a degree while I’m at it. It’s challenged me in a billion different ways and opened me to everything that breaks my heart and everything that puts it back together.

I love garbage. I want to work in waste management one day, alongside urban planners or municipal governments.

My blog title comes from my favourite book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Le Petit Prince. “All men have stars, but they are not the same things for different people.” Everyone sees the same things in the world through a different lens. This blog is about my stars, and the lens through which I see them.

This blog is for academic purposes. All the views represented are my own, and do not reflect the views of St. Paul’s University College or the University of Waterloo.DSC_0104.JPG
